Parking in our hotel

Our closed, courtyard parking lot can be used 24 hours a day, you can arrange the parking fee together with your room bill at the reception (HUF 2,500/car/night). Due to the downtown location of our hotel, there are a limited number of parking spaces available, so prior reservation is required to use the service. Please note that our parking lot can be accessed through a relatively narrow, 240 cm wide gate.

If you reserve a parking space in the inner courtyard of our hotel with an electric car, we have a charging station at your disposal. You can inquire about the current prices at the reception.

Access to our hotel by car

If you arrive with a GPS, you should navigate to Templom Street, from where you can enter the historic city center through an electric entry control system (barrier).

Use of an electronic access control system:
You have to press the button labeled “Hotel Palatinus”, so you can reach us, and then we can ensure moving forward. Please press the button only once and wait patiently while your call is detected on the mobile device at the reception. After releasing the barrier, only one passenger vehicle can pass through the access control system at a time! Turn right at the first opportunity, this will be Fegyvertár utca, which will direct you to Orsolya tér. The Hotel Palatinus is already recognizable from here.

Parking in Sopron

If you have not booked a parking lot in the yard of our hotel, you can park in front of our building for the time of check-in and luggage drop-off, however, parking here for longer periods is prohibited.
In this case, we recommend the Petőfi Square underground garage, located 3 minutes’ walk from the Hotel Palatinus, for parking, the current price list of which can be found here.

There are public parking spaces on Széchenyi Square, which are free on weekends and chargeable on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., which you can find more information about here (Széchenyi Square belongs to zone I).

You can also park your car in the Árpád Street parking garage, which is a 5-minute walk from our hotel. You can find out about the current prices here.
