As a guest of Hotel Palatinus, you can enter the famous Fertőrákos Quarry at a discount, where you can fly back in time more than 10 million years. In the Theme Park, you can get an insight into an exhibition that presents the remains found in the area, including those of animals with limestone skeletons living in the Miocene sea.
By walking along the surface path, you can get to know the natural values of the Fertő-Hanság National Park and the Fertő side, and the viewpoints offer a beautiful panorama of the Fertő lake and its surroundings.
In the framework of the Paleontology presentation, which reports on the formation of the limestone and the life of the primeval sea, you can also see a reconstruction of a life-size primeval shark, primeval dolphin, and primeval whale.
